Razer Preps for pre

Razer's Twiddly first gaming laptop, blade, could be in your hands before Christmas (or Hanukkah) as the company plans to open its Web site for pre-order soon.

Razer CEO Min-Liang Tan also came forward to announce that the company had swapped 320 GB hard drive for a 256 GB solid-state drive (SSD) spinning. While they provide less storage space, SSD is generally help improve the overall performance and less prone to cracking or wear and tear. 2.8 GHz Intel Core i7-2640M processors, 8 GB of DDR3 RAM, and Nvidia GeForce GT discrete graphics chip 555 M (2 GB) with Optimus technology is still the same. It is also equipped with a Jack 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 3.0 (for connecting wireless devices), an Ethernet jack, a USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, 3.5 mm headphone and mic combo.

Razer Blade features the most interesting, apart from the internal components and aluminum chassis, black is a touchpad on the right of the chiclet keyboard. Touchpad serves as a secondary screen, display your character's statistics and health in the game. Above this touchpad is 10 dynamic touch of a button that can be programmed as hotkeys for executing a command.
